Bynum plays with meniscus tear

LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum started in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals series against the Utah Jazz, despite a small tear in the meniscus in his right knee.

Bynum scored eight points and grabbed 10 boards in 25 minutes as the Lakers took the opener 104-99.
