Dodgers get ready for Rockies

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers and Colorado Rockies will meet in a three-game series starting Friday night, the first time they have seen each other since the final weekend of the 2009 regular season, when both teams had clinched playoff spots, but the Rockies were still furiously trying to catch the Dodgers for the National League West title.

The Dodgers finally clinched by winning the middle game of that series behind six shutout innings from Clayton Kershaw.
