Anaheim Ducks call up Ray Emery

Ray Emery is back in the NHL.

The goaltender was recalled by the Anaheim Ducks and slated to back up Curtis McElhinney for Wednesday night's game against the visiting Los Angeles Kings.

He went 2-1-0 with the Ducks' AHL farm team in Syracuse this month, sporting a .925 save percentage and 2.62 goals-against average.

Emery signed a one-year, two-way deal Feb. 7 that pays him a $500,000, pro-rated salary in the NHL and $105,000 in the minors.
