Report: Kim Ng leaving Dodgers

Kim Ng is leaving her post as vice president and assistant general manager with the Los Angeles Dodgers for a job as senior vice president of baseball operations with Major League Baseball, according to MLB.com.

Ng, who is entering her 10th season with Los Angeles, became the first woman to interview for a general manager position when she did so with the Dodgers in 2005. The job went to Ned Colletti.
