Frank Gansz Jr. leaving UCLA

UCLA special teams coach Frank Gansz Jr. has left the team for personal reasons and Angus McClure, the director of on-campus recruiting, will take over, coach Rick Neuheisel announced Monday.

Gansz had been with the team since Neuheisel took over in 2008, but has acknowledged in the past having difficulties dealing with the death of his father, a special teams coaching guru in the NFL and college for nearly 40 years. Frank Gansz Sr. died in April 2009 following complications from knee surgery. ...
