Andre Ethier extends streak

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers' Andre Ethier has extended his major league record for the longest April hitting streak to 25 games.

The right fielder doubled with two out in the fifth inning Friday night against San Diego's Clayton Richard, a left-hander he had only one hit in 15 career at-bats against to that point.
