Price quiets Royals in Tigers win

David Price threw a complete game and took a shutout into the 9th to lead the Tigers past the Royals 2-1. Kansas City had just one baserunner reach 2nd base before a Lorenzo Cain homer ended the Royals' scoreless outing.
