MLB All-Star Game Josh Hamilton put on a home-run hitting display that would have made Babe Ruth proud, but in the end Justin Morneau emerged as the champion of the 2008 State Farm Home Run Derby at Yankee Stadium. The Twins' first baseman outslugged the Rangers' outfielder, 5-3, in the championship round to come out on top. Hamilton settled for second place despite setting a Home Run Derby record with 28 bombs in the first round.
