Baseball is held to a higher standard than other sports.

For instance, newspapers only print All-Star teams showing the highest paid baseball player at each position even though NBA players make as much money. Columnists only complain about baseball postseason games starting too late and ending past midnight even though the NFL's marquee game, Monday Night Football, starts later and ends later every week.
