Moeller becomes fifth Brewer to hit for cycle
MILWAUKEE -- Chad Moeller hit for the cycle Tuesday night, becoming the first Milwaukee Brewers player to accomplish the feat since Paul Molitor 13 years ago.
Moeller homered in the second inning of a 9-8 victory over the Cincinnati Reds, then doubled in the fourth, tripled in the fifth and singled in the seventh.
The first three hits came against starter Cory Lidle. Moeller's single off reliever Ryan Wagner prompted a standing ovation from the crowd of 8,918.
