Johjima, Mariners agree: 3 years, $16.5M

SEATTLE -- Now that Japanese catcher Kenji Johjima and the Seattle Mariners agreed to a $16.5 million, three-year contract Monday, they have one thing left to figure out: how to communicate.
"Yeah, there is a certain challenge coming over as a catcher because of the language issue," Mariners general manager Bill Bavasi said.
