The 1987 Minnesota Twins won the franchise's first World Series championship behind a lineup of power hitters. Kent Hrbek, Tom Brunansky and Gary Gaetti all clubbed more than 30 home runs and Kirby Puckett added 28 as the Metrodome became known as the "Homerdome."
