Colon leaves after six scoreless innings

SAN DIEGO -- A blister knocked Dominican pitcher Bartolo Colón out of the World Baseball Classic semifinal against Cuba on Saturday.

Colón developed the blister on the right middle finger of his pitching hand, after throwing six innings in which he allowed four hits and no runs. Cuba went on to win the game 3-1, advancing to the WBC championship game.
