Dodgers acquire RHP Dessens for Perez, prospects

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Dodgers dealt pitcher Odalis Perez to the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday, nearly two weeks after saying they had no plans to trade the disgruntled left-hander.
