Albert Belle sentenced to jail, probation in stalking case
PHOENIX -- Former major-league slugger Albert Belle was sentenced to 90 days in jail and five years' supervised probation Thursday in a case in which he admitted stalking his former girlfriend.
Belle, 39, pleaded guilty in July to one felony stalking count. He was been arrested and charged in February, then arrested again May 17 at his Scottsdale home after he again contacted the victim.
