Kennedy returns to Cardinals with three-year deal

ST. LOUIS -- Signing second baseman Adam Kennedy filled out the St. Louis Cardinals' everyday lineup. Even with the addition of right-hander Kip Wells, their rotation remains two pitchers shy.
