TORONTO -- Blue Jays left fielder Reed Johnson will undergo surgery Tuesday to repair a herniated disk in his lower back.

Johnson, who will have the operation in Florida, was placed on the 15-day disabled list Friday. The team hopes to get him back sometime in July.
