Rockies place RHP Lopez on disabled list

DENVER -- The Colorado Rockies placed right-hand pitcher Rodrigo Lopez on the 15-day disabled list before their game with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday.

Lopez allowed a run in four innings Wednesday night before leaving the game with tightness in his right elbow. He missed his start Sunday in Arizona because of inflammation in his right elbow.

Lopez was 1-0 with a 1.59 ERA in three starts.
