With O's surging, Trembley to remain manager for rest of season

BALTIMORE -- Dave Trembley can remove the interim tag from his title. From now until at least the end of the 2007 season, he's simply the manager of the Baltimore Orioles.

The former bullpen coach, who took over for fired manager Sam Perlozzo on June 18, has earned the right to finish the season, Orioles president of baseball operations Andy MacPhail said Tuesday.
