Phillips likely out for season after broken wrist, surgery

NEW YORK -- Yankees first baseman Andy Phillips has a broken right wrist and will have surgery Tuesday, most likely sidelining him for the rest of the season.
Phillips was hit by a pitch during New York's 8-2 loss to Tampa Bay on Sunday. The club said he will be out four to six weeks.
"It feels like somebody hit me with a hammer," Phillips said.
