Pads' Bradley fined, not suspended in blow-up with umpire

San Diego Padres outfielder Milton Bradley was fined but not suspended for his role in an on-field confrontation with umpire Mike Winters.
The confrontation left Bradley with an injured knee and the umpire suspended for the rest of the season.
Bob Watson, baseball's vice president in charge of discipline,
said Friday that Bradley was not suspended "because no contact was
made" during the eighth-inning screaming match at San Diego on
