Dodgers promote Watson to assistant GM for player development

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Dodgers have promoted De Jon Watson to assistant general manager for player development, one of several moves announced by GM Ned Colletti on Wednesday.

Todd Tomczyk was named assistant athletic trainer, and Sue Falsone joined the Dodgers as the first female physical therapist in the major leagues.

Brendon Huttman became the team's strength coach.
