Jeter in lineup one day after left hand hit by pitch

NEW YORK -- Derek Jeter was in the New York Yankees' lineup Wednesday against Baltimore, one night after getting hit on the left hand by a pitch.

"I'm fine," the star shortstop said. "Everything's good."

In other injury news, Yankees ace Chien-Ming Wang has a mild strain of his right calf but is not expected to miss a turn in the rotation.

Jeter left Tuesday night's 12-2 loss to the Orioles in the third inning when he was plunked by right-hander Daniel Cabrera. X-rays were negative, ...
