Mets' Reyes exits in first inning with stiff left hamstring
ANAHEIM, Calif. -- New York shortstop Jose Reyes felt stiffness in his left hamstring running out a single and left the game in the opening inning of the Mets' game against the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night.
The Mets said he was taken out of the game as a precautionary measure and manager Jerry Manuel said after the 6-1 loss that he expects Reyes back in the lineup for the next game.
