Halladay in head hit by line drive, but not injured

PITTSBURGH -- Toronto ace Roy Halladay got a scare, but apparently wasn't injured, while being struck in the right temple by Nyjer Morgan's line drive in the seventh inning of the Blue Jays' 1-0, 12-inning loss in Pittsburgh on Friday night.

Halladay pitched seven shutout innings in the loss, Toronto's sixth in a row, on the day the team fired manager John Gibbons and replaced him with World Series-winning manager Cito Gaston.
