Angels' Kendrick goes on DL
ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Second baseman Howie Kendrick, one of the Los Angeles Angels' top hitters this season, went on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with a strained left hamstring.
Kendrick, batting .308, felt tightness in the hamstring running from first to second in the fourth inning and left Wednesday night's game against Oakland, a 6-5 loss.
