Fahey: MLB needs transparency

LAUSANNE, Switzerland -- The head of the World Anti-Doping Agency called on Major League Baseball to be as open as possible about steroids, arguing against any premature closure of cases involving Alex Rodriguez and others.

"Ultimately, the public is happy with transparency -- whatever you are, whoever you are," WADA president John Fahey said Tuesday.
