Nady to undergo MRI on Wednesday
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Yankees right fielder Xavier Nady will have an MRI exam on his right elbow Wednesday after feeling a sharp pain while making a throw in Tuesday night's 7-2 win over Tampa Bay.
Nady, who had elbow ligament replacement surgery on Sept. 29, 2001, experienced the pain making a throw to the infield after Carlos Pena's single in the seventh. He left the game after the inning was completed.
