Hawpe hit in neck, taken to hospital
DENVER -- Colorado Rockies outfielder Brad Hawpe was taken to a hospital with a possible concussion after he was hit in the neck by San Diego catcher Nick Hundley's throw to second base in the sixth inning Monday night.
"We know he's doing OK," Rockies outfielder Ryan Spilborghs said after the Rockies' 12-7 victory.
