A's Tomko out with nerve damage in arm
OAKLAND, Calif. -- Oakland right-hander Brett Tomko has been sidelined for the rest of the season with nerve damage in his right arm.
Athletics manager Bob Geren made it official before Thursday's game against the Cleveland Indians. Left-hander Dana Eveland will start on Sunday, with right-hander Edgar Gonzalez pitching Monday against the Texas Rangers.
