Carlos Santana, Travis Hafner on DL
CLEVELAND -- Indians catcher Carlos Santana was put on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained left knee Tuesday, a day after he was carried from the field on a stretcher following a collision at home plate.
Tests showed Santana hyperextended his knee and sprained his lateral collateral ligament, which is located on the outside of the left knee joint. The rookie left Monday night's game in Boston with his left leg in an air cast.
