Report: Bill Hall agrees to Astros deal

HOUSTON -- A person familiar with the deal tells The Associated Press that the Houston Astros have agreed to a one-year contract with free agent Bill Hall that guarantees $3.25 million.
The person spoke Friday on condition of anonymity because the deal has not been announced.
Hall's agreement contains a mutual option for 2012 with a buyout.
The utility player spent last season with the Boston Red Sox and is likely to be Houston's starting second baseman.
