Source: Dan Uggla agrees to extension
Second baseman Dan Uggla has reached agreement with the Atlanta Braves on a five-year, $62 million contract extension, a league source told ESPN.com. The deal is pending completion of a physical exam, the source said.
The Braves acquired Uggla from the Florida Marlins in mid-November in a trade for utilityman Omar Infante and left-handed reliever Mike Dunn.
