Aybar leaves Angels' nightcap at Texas

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Angels shortstop Erick Aybar left the second game of a doubleheader in Texas on Sunday night because of a strained right quadriceps muscle.
There was a stoppage in play in the bottom of the second inning when Aybar walked toward the third-base line and met briefly with a trainer and manager Mike Scioscia. He almost immediately came out of the game, and the Angels said he was day to day.
