Cubs 7, Diamondbacks 2

PHOENIX -- Josh Collmenter ended the season on a positive note despite failing to get a victory in his final outing.

Collmenter held Chicago to one run over fine innings, but the Cubs beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-2 on Sunday afternoon.

"I was able to end on a good note, which was a definitely a positive," Collmenter said. "From last year and being able to take it in, it will be positive from this year and taking it into next year as well."
