Boston's Pedroia and Ellsbury sit against Yankees

NEW YORK -- Dustin Pedroia and Jacoby Ellsbury were out of Boston's starting lineup against the New York Yankees on Monday night.

Pedroia, the 2008 AL MVP, may have injured a finger in Sunday's game at Baltimore. Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine said, "Pedroia's not available to play" but wouldn't go into specifics on the second baseman.
