New York is 4-0 since acquiring Yoenis Céspedes and sits in sole possession of 1st place in the NL East this late in the season for the first time since Sept. 19, 2008. The Nationals, who were 3½ games up on the Mets entering July, are 11-16 since July 1st.

Harper grumpy after falling out of first
