TORONTO -- The Toronto Blue Jays activated Cy Young Award winner Roy Halladay from the 15-day disabled list Saturday.

Halladay, who missed two starts with a sore shoulder, was the starter for Saturday's game against Arizona.

The right-hander entered the game 5-4 with a 3.58 ERA. He was durable last year, going 22-7 with a 3.25 ERA and leading the majors with 266 innings.

The Blue Jays also placed right-hander Kerry Ligtenberg on the 15-day disabled list with inflammation in his left hip.
