Toronto Blue Jays: The club claimed right-hander
Seung Song off waivers from the Montreal Expos on Saturday.
Song, who is from South Korea, went 3-1 with a 4.26 ERA in 13 games for Triple-A Edmonton this past season. He is currently playing for Peoria in the Arizona Fall League, where he is 0-1 with a 5.91 ERA in six starts.
Song began his career in the Red Sox organization before he was traded to Montreal along with right-hander Sun-Woo Kim in exchange for Cliff Floyd in 2002.
