Clayton hit .279 with eight homers and 54 RBIss for Colorado last season, but the Rockies decided to use rookie Clint Barmes next year at shortstop.
Clayton, who will be 35 on opening day, is a .257 hitter over 14 seasons with 105 homers and 627 RBIss. As an All-Star in 1997, he batted .266 with nine homers and 61 RBIss and 30 stolen bases.
Arizona would be his eighth major league team.
Gaudin, 21, split last season between the Devil Rays and Triple-A Durham of the International League. He was 1-2 with a 4.85 ERA in four starts and 24 relief appearances for the Devil Rays and 1-3 with a 4.72 ERA in seven starts and 10 relief appearances with Durham.
Cash, 27, hit .193 with four homers and 21 RBIs in 60 games for the Blue Jays last season. He started 50 games and threw out 42.4 percent of attempted base stealers.
