The 1987 Minnesota Twins won the franchise's first World Series championship behind a lineup of power hitters. Kent Hrbek, Tom Brunansky and Gary Gaetti all clubbed more than 30 home runs and Kirby Puckett added 28 as the Metrodome became known as the "Homerdome."
But since then, no Twins player has slugged 30-or-more homers in a season. Zero. How unusual is that feat? Check out the following list, which shows the last player with 30-plus homers and the number of 30-HR guys for each major-league team since the 1987 season.
