Figgins, Angels agree to 3-year, $10.5M extension
Figgins, 27, hit .290 with eight homers and 57 RBI in 158 games last season. He led the American League with 62 stolen bases while playing second base, third base and shortstop and all three outfield positions.

The Angels also signed outfielder Juan Rivera to a two-year contract. Exact details were not yet known, but the outfielder will earn about $1.3 million in 2006.
Rivera, 27, batted .271 with 15 homers and 59 RBI in 106 games last season, his first with the Angels. He hit .308 from Aug. 1 until the end of the season.
