NEW YORK -- The Yankees got back the results of Robinson Cano's physical and were likely to finalize the second baseman's $30 million, four-year contract on Thursday.

Cano's contract is potentially worth $57 million over six seasons.

He will get $3 million this season, $6 million next year, $9 million in 2010 and $10 million in 2011. New York has a $14 million option for 2012 with a $2 million buyout. If that option is exercised, the Yankees would have a $15 million option for 2013 with a $2 million buyout.

Starting pitcher Chien-Ming Wang is the other Yankees player in arbitration. He asked for $4.6 million and was offered $4 million after going 19-7 with a 3.70 ERA last year, his second consecutive season with 19 wins.
