Rays activate closer Percival from DL
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Rays activated closer Troy Percival from the 15-day disabled list on Sunday.

Percival allowed one hit and hit a batter during a scoreless ninth as the Rays lost to the Toronto Blue Jays 9-4.
Percival had been out since July 2 with a strained left hamstring. The right-hander also was sidelined from May 29-June 12 with an injured left hamstring.
"He's feeling stronger and better," manager Joe Maddon said. "It's great to have him back. He's been chomping at the bit."
The Rays also placed reliever Gary Glover on the 15-day DL with a strained left calf. The move is retroactive to July 11.
