Quentin sits out with sore forearm; Griffey to rest tight back
Quentin has a sore left forearm while Griffey has tightness in his lower back. Both are considered day-to-day.
Quentin, who has hit 36 home runs, was scratched prior to batting practice. He is 2-for-14 (.143) in his last four games.
"He says he has a lot of soreness," manager Ozzie Guillen said. "When he says he's sore, it means he's very sore. That's why I'm keeping him out of the lineup."
Quentin missed two games in August after being hit on the forearm by Boston's Josh Beckett. He has been hit a major-league high 20 times this season.
Griffey was scratched from Monday's lineup. He is hitting .310 (9-for-29) with four doubles, six walks and a home run in his last nine games.
Getz hit .302 with 11 homers and 52 RBIs in 111 games for Charlotte. In eight games with Chicago in August, he went 2-for-7 with one RBI.
Broadway went 11-7 with a 4.66 ERA in 24 games at Charlotte and 1-0 with an 8.44 ERA in four outings with the White Sox. Fields hit .246 with 10 homers and 35 RBIs in the minors and .182 (4-for-22) in eight games for Chicago.
Last season, Fields hit 23 homers in 373 at-bats for the White Sox.
