LHP Takahashi gets deal with Blue Jays
TORONTO -- Left-hander Ken Takahashi finalized a minor league contract Friday with the Toronto Blue Jays and was invited to major league spring training camp.
The 39-year-old has spent his entire 14-year career in Japan, and was 8-5 with a 3.50 ERA in 21 games for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp last season.
Takahashi's career record is 66-87 with a 4.23 ERA in 433 games, including 160 starts.
