Schlereth gets call up from D-backs

PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks have promoted lefty Daniel Schlereth, their first pick in last year's draft.
The 23-year-old Schlereth, a product of the University of Arizona, had three saves and a 1.42 ERA at Double-A Mobile. He struck out 21 in 19 innings.
Arizona optioned left-hander Doug Slaten to Triple-A Reno.
