BALTIMORE -- The Baltimore Orioles say they have reached a deal with the county and city of Sarasota, Fla., to move their spring training operations to Ed Smith Stadium in 2010.

The Orioles said the Sarasota County Commission approved the agreement on Wednesday.

The 30-year agreement includes establishing a Cal Ripken Youth Baseball Academy on the grounds of Twin Lakes Park.

The deal means the Orioles will leave their current spring training facility in Fort Lauderdale.
