HOUSTON -- Houston Astros slugger Lance Berkman has been activated from the disabled list and will make his season debut Tuesday night against the Florida Marlins.

Berkman had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee March 13, forcing him to miss the first 12 games of the season. The 34-year-old hit a home run and two doubles and had three RBIs in a two-game rehabilitation assignment with Triple-A Round Rock.

Third baseman Chris Johnson was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a rib cage injury to free Berkman's spot on the roster.
