PITTSBURGH -- Braves rookie outfielder Jason Heyward was scratched from the lineup about an hour before game time in Pittsburgh because of a sore left thumb.
Heyward had four hits as Atlanta won the first two games of the series, including a homer and a double on Friday. Heyward's 29 RBIs lead the Braves and his .464 on-base percentage this month is the NL's third highest.
Heyward was in the original lineup Sunday in right field, but was replaced by Melky Cabrera. Heyward's injury is not considered to be serious.
